About

Dr. Arnab Majumder is a minimally invasive hernia surgeon at Washington University. He specializes in hernia repair surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction and hiatal hernia repair. Dr. Majumder earned his medical degree from the Ohio State University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and an advanced GI/minimally invasive surgery/abdominal wall reconstruction fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

In addition to caring for patients with abdominal wall hernias, Dr. Majumder conducts research to improve treatment options and patient outcomes. “Everything that we do is for our patients,” Dr. Majumder says. “From repairing complex hernias and communicating with referring physicians to writing and publishing research, we are always thinking of our patients.”
